Job Description

Basic Purpose:
Under general supervision and consistent with the Credit Union’s mission, vision, guiding principles and brand statements, provides quality service to internal members and contributes to the success of EKC through the achievement of department service goals. Provides administrative support to financial services lending staff in the processing of new and renewed personal loans, mortgages and lines of credit for all designated branches. Prepares and submits legal mortgage document packages to lawyers within established timeliness and accuracy standards. Prepares documentation for mortgage, loan and Envision Auto Dealership Program discharges. Maintains retail loan files and records. Prepares a variety of retail and commercial loan reports. Supports the Retail and Commercial Delinquency Control Program for all accounts by reviewing daily and weekly delinquency reports and initiating collection activities. Performs a variety of general administrative support duties for Commercial and Financial Services departments.
Schedule Description
Temporary Full-Time – 37 Hours per week (until July 9, 2021)
Monday: 8:15am – 3:00pm
Tuesday – Thursday: 8:00am – 4:45pm
Friday: 9:00am – 5:30pm
Note: These hours may be altered due to operational requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
This is a Development Position and training for this role will be provided. We would like someone with the following experience:
Secondary school diploma, with a minimum of approximately 2 years’ experience with EKCCU or another financial institution as a Teller or Member Service Representative plus:
? Working knowledge of financial institution products and services
? Proficiency in written and oral communication skills and the ability to project a courteous, professional image
? Success in responding to member inquiries and providing a high level of member service
? A sound working knowledge of the current banking system
? Personal computer literacy with demonstrated keyboarding skills proficiency in Microsoft Word or other word processing program and email package
? Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet program
An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Successful applicants will also be required to upgrade skills on a yearly basis by taking related courses in accordance with the Course Checklist for this position.
