VersaFile is looking for an experienced HR specialist to join our close-knit team in a part-time position. As a small software company, we are looking for someone to help grow our staff through the recruiting and onboarding processes. An ideal candidate can oversee a range of human resources responsibilities with a focus on hiring, managing compensation and developing a learning and growth program. With your help we will strive to build an efficient, highly productive organizational culture based on the foundation of our company’s core values and purpose.
Human Resources Manager Job Responsibilities:
Supports organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program
Enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating people relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Prepares people for assignments by facilitating and ensuring orientation and training programs take place.
Manages a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; and recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results.
Ensures compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource requirements and maintaining records.
Executes management guidance by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
Sustains past and active human resource records.
Cultivates professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops
Human Resources Manager Qualifications / Skills:
Human resources management
Compensation and wage structure
Regulatory compliance across multiple districts
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or similar work experience required
5+ years of experience in progressively responsible human resource roles
3+ years of experience in a supervisory role
