Human Resources Manager The City of Port Colborne is seeking an energetic and motivated professional with superior strategic, leadership, analytical, interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills who works well in a fast-paced environment and can help drive the corporation forward by leading the Human Resources Department in achieving the goals and strategic direction set by Council.

Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, this position provides strategic development and oversight of implementation of HR programs, processes and policies. Also, provides strategic oversight with negotiations, contract and grievance administration, workplace compliance investigations, performance management, recruitment and retention, training, development, coaching, mentoring, discipline, payroll, pension, benefits and HRIS.

You are a Human Resources professional, preferably in a municipality, with six or more years of progressive experience, with computer proficiency in Microsoft programs and HRIS systems. You have a degree in Human Resources or a related discipline and/or related education and working knowledge of current applicable legislation. You have achieved a CHRP designation or higher.
