Inside Sales Representative - Counter Sales
The Inside Sales Representative [Counter Sales] position will be responsible for performing sales activities inside the store. This position will also act as a customer service representative to develop sales relationships with walk-in and telephone customers and ensure that customer’s needs are met in a professional and timely fashion.
Major responsibilities:


This position is responsible for the efficient processing of customer orders, answers and responds to telephone and walk-in sales orders and product inquiries
Sell gases and welding products to walk-in and telephone customers
Maintain appearance of the branch and maintain stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
Shoveling and preparing large dry ice orders
Use knowledge of welding applications and products to ensure Praxair products meet customer requirements
Participate in rotation schedule to cover Saturday store opening (9AM – 12PM)
Participate in on-call rotation for after hours dry ice needs

Qualifications
Qualifications

Minimum 2 years inside sales or counter sales experience
Good communication, computer skills as well as a strong commitment to safety
Degree or certificate in Business, Marketing or related field considered an asset
Knowledge of welding Industry applications and products to meet customer requirements considered an asset
A proven background of meeting sales and margin goals and gaining new customers.
Must be self-motivated and capable of working with minimum supervision in a fast paced environment
Must have the ability to work quickly and accurately within time constraints and against deadlines
