The Logistics Management Analyst (LMA) position is based at the Contractor Management Office (CMO) in downtown Ottawa, Ontario and will be responsible for working with the Logistics Management Team concerning logistics support to the Customer and the Program Management Team. The primary function is to be the liaison with the Customer for Supply related matters. In addition, this position will have primary responsibility for Management presentations, metrics performance and continuous improvement initiatives for Supply related matters. The successful candidate will have an extensive background in logistics support or supply chain management and be able to enforce contractual requirements while satisfying customer expectations. This position requires a proactive approach to supply issues. Strong communication skills are necessary to work effectively amongst a dynamic group of internal and external customers.
Duties also include:

Provide supply support services for supply chain activity administration and oversight for all requirements related to the RCAF C-130J fleet
Support efforts such as audits and other forms of analysis of the inventory database to ensure its integrity and accuracy
Establish a proactive approach to identify and mitigate supply related issues before they occur
Deliver oral and written reports of data and/or status
The LMA’s work is self-directed for the most part and the candidate should be willing to take the lead on specific supply issues, working with little supervision. However, the position will operate in an Integrated Product Team environment, when working in a team environment, the candidate must demonstrate the ability to thrive in this matrix structure, as direction will come from multiple sources.

This position will be responsible for ensuring that the strategic decisions related to day-to-day execution of the Supply Support System are carried out. The position also serves as the primary spokesperson for LM Supply with the Weapon System Management staff in the execution of the contract.

Required skills, qualifications and experience Minimum education and experience:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education with at least eight years of professional experience
Demonstrate the ability to be a supply liaison between the on-site LM/CFO technical staff and the LM Aeronautics logistics team in Marietta
Exhibit the capacity to serve as the primary point of contact for supply in support of aircraft undergoing maintenance, ensuring schedules are met or exceeded Required skills:
