Job Description

Nature of Work
Teach and supervise weekly labs and tutorials. Participate in preparing lab, project, and tutorial materials. Demonstrate techniques and tools related to requirements capture, documentation and analysis. Discuss in labs and tutorials selected points from lecture material, occasionally extending this material. Solve assignments in advance, and grade them quickly. Assist with keeping mark records. Have weekly office hours and answer e-mail from students. Proctor exams.

For positions with a teaching component, the applicant must be able to communicate accurately, effectively, and with clairity in the language of instruction.

Minimum Qualifications
Good knowledge of the course material (requirements description notations and languages including UML, URN, feature models, specification, analysis and requirements management). Ability to supervise teams for requirements gathering exercises. Enough knowledge and practical experience with jUCMNav, FosWiki and IBM DOORS to teach.Preference will be given to candidates who have completed this course or its equivalent and its prerequisite(s) with a mark of A or better. Attend a TA workshop if necessary. Must be ready for an interview if considered for this position. If the responsibilities include DGD and/or TUT and/or LAB supervision or teaching, the applicant must be available for all of these.
