What You’ll Do
The Digital Account Director is responsible for managing the customer relationship and provides strategic direction and leadership across a collection of high-profile clients. They can identify a client’s needs before they know they need something and then pull together the right mix of technical, creative, and strategic internal talent to deliver on those needs on time and on budget. They are the main point of contact for the client, acting as their voice within the agency, ensuring their needs are met and effective solutions are provided. This includes, but is not limited to:
Overseeing and managing large-scale website builds and/or other digital solutions from inception to launch, collaborating with team members across all VERB departments
Day-to-day management of client business through strategic planning and daily execution of project tasks
Working closely with clients, understanding their needs and expectations, planning, forecasting, and reporting on projects
Manage multiple simultaneous projects, involving cross-functional teams, within budget, schedule, and resource constraints
Drive projects through entire campaign life-cycle, from inception to post-launch analysis and optimization
Managing project outcomes against business goals and objectives
Effective management of budgets and resources, following predetermined budgets for projects and consistently assess departmental resources to ensure staffing requirements are met
Inspire, coach, motivate, and energize project team
Responsible for the overall output of the project working team, ensuring tasks are completed on time and of the utmost quality
Effectively manage and build strong relationships with senior clients and have the ability to navigate up the client organization
Provide leadership/mentorship to Digital Account Managers and Coordinators, developing their skills and identifying areas for growth Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in marketing/advertising industry or account management role
Post-secondary education with a focus on advertising, marketing, communications, or business
Experience in a client services organization, preferably digital marketing (including web, mobile, video, brand, and digital consulting projects)
Highly organized and able to funct
