Montréal, QC$46,300 - $57,900 a yearAs the HR Administrator for Financial Services, you will provide a full range of human resources and administrative support in accordance with our focused annual objectives and our culture in fostering an environment of continuous employee engagement initiatives. We are looking for a generalist with emphasis on a variety of human resources matters such as recruitment, compensation, benefits, payroll, pension, records, labour and employee relations, performance dialogue, and succession planning. Primary Responsibilities: Administer, review, process and maintain documentation pertaining to offer letters, appointment forms, probationary adherence, attendance, compensation, benefits, records, payroll, pensions, records and grievances. Provide information to managers and staff with respect to a variety of human resources policies and procedure ensuring compliance. Advocate for wellness, positivity and change from development of recognition programs, engagement initiatives to implementation of new programs (Workday). Able to present to all levels of employees in operation, supervisor and town hall meetings. Manage and maintain the operating budget and budget by position and ensure strict compliance with guidelines. Participation in review of job requisition requests to analyze need of the position within the unit. Full-cycle recruitment (development of job descriptions, postings, interviews, offers and on-boarding) Process POPS payments (vacation payouts, overtime, undertime, and other miscellaneous payments) Miscellaneous tasks can include documenting minutes at departmental meetings, addressing building logistics, internal telephone coordination, ordering supplies, processing invoices and creating purchase orders. Other duties as discovered. Minimum Education & Experience: DEC III Three (3) years' related experience Other Qualifying Skills And/Or Abilities: Proven knowledge of university human resources policies and procedures. Demonstrated eagerness to learn, improve and excel in human resources functions. Proven ability to mobilize engagement initiatives within a department and be a credible influential change contributor. Demonstrated experience submitting and verifying appointment forms and POPS payments. Ability to multi-task and work on several projects, under strict deadlines while ensuring strong attention to detail. Strong problem solving, diplomacy and organizational skills. Superior customer service skills and ability to provide a wide range of information and advice to internal and external clients. Demonstrated experience working with information of a sensitive and confidential nature.
