Exemption Status: Full Time
Reports To: COOSummary of Responsibilities: Responsible for managing telecommunications expenses for multiple clients. The analyst will primarily be responsible for organizing implementation management of new clients in cooperation with the COO, reviewing Client Telecom Infrastructure, understanding Billing and Basic Concepts of Fibre, IP/VPN, PRI, VoIP, and other Communications Media and how they translate to billing. Must be able to transfer billing information to proprietary billing system. Must be able to make recommendations, researching billing issues and resolving discrepancies or conflicts with billing charges. The analyst will work with our production and administration team to oversee accuracy of audits. Contract negotiation experience is an asset. This individual must also be able to identify and track various savings opportunities as the result of analysis performed to identify billing errors or recommended optimizations as they relate to telecom. The TEM Analyst must be able to work independently to identify billing errors or other opportunities and work with the carriers and the client to resolve errors and implement changes.Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Recording and analysis of Telecom InventoryInterface, Follow-up with customersTroubleshooting Telco inconsistenciesVerify successful initial implementation of new services and their associated costsWork with more senior team members to drive dispute activity and work with network carriers to implement changes or billing correctionsWork with Admin Production Team to track services, contract due dates and to collect service information (circuits and phone numbers) into inventory databaseMinimum Experience & Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Accounting or Finance is preferredMinimum three years of telecommunications experience, preferably in carrier cost/expense management software, is requiredMinimum three years of experience performing detailed analysis of telecommunications expense with demonstrated problem resolution skillsAccounts Payable experience and knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles is preferredStrong MS Excel skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge and familiarity with telecommunications terms, service types and various carrier billing platforms (wireline & wireless)Prior experience reviewing carrier invoicesExcellent customer service skillsCompensation and Benefits: Pay rate commensurate with experience. $40,000 to $60,000 plus achievable bonuses.
