As the Manager, Banking and Business Accounts, you will be responsible for contributing to the overall success of the Commercial Banking processing and credit support service team in Canada by processing Banking Information Changes (KYC, signing officers changes, address changes etc.), Global Transaction Banking products & services, loan payouts, lending advances, annual reviews, overdrafts/delinquencies, maintenance transactions as they relate to accounts, products, investments, and loans requested by customers or internal partners. Accountabilities Leads and oversees the servicing of the Processing and Credit Support groups in Canada ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. He/she is responsible for a team that oversees the output of high quality and accurate client data as it relates to processing and credit support for the existing Commercial portfolios Reviews/provides authorization for transactions and/or temporary credit requests Reviews authorizations (including syndications) for deals up to $25MM to execute the requirement of existing accounts, products & services, and subsequent funding. Oversees a team responsible for the review and action of the daily overdrafts, delinquencies (including Small Business), annual review, lending advances/payouts, etc. Applies specialized operational or professional knowledge/standards, as well as a breadth of knowledge in related areas to manage own team. Works independently, guided by policies, operating plans, priorities, and operates within assigned authorities/limits Exercises judgement based on precedent and multi-faceted information to resolve increasingly complex business, functional and operational issues; recommends standards and operating methods. Thorough knowledge of credit and transactional requests as they relate to loans and account maintenance/renewals, etc. Requirements Post-Secondary Education (Business Degree preferred) and/or 3 years equivalent work experience in the Financial Services or related industry. 2 + years of proven experience leading a team to success Proven experience coaching employees and overseeing their career development Knowledge of Commercial Banking, products & services, and lending services is a strong asset Knowledge of business credits (including syndications) as it applies to Commercial Banking’s policies & procedures, business accounts, products & services, and collateral documentation is a strong asset Strong communication (written & verbal), organizational, and decision making skills Ability to build strong relationships This position is located at Tahoe Blvd, Mississauga.
