Ashfield is currently looking for individuals with pharmaceutical sales experience who want to work in a head office environment to lead a team of Inside Sales Representatives as well as be the main contact to external pharmaceutical clients for the Inside Sales Department.Key Objectives: Monitor Inside sales Representatives activity ensuring the quality and quantity of the calls meets client(s) expectations;Conduct regular coaching sessions to provide guidance and feedback on selling skills, product knowledge and target management;Identify development areas in skillset amongst the Inside Sales Representatives and work to improve the individual’s capabilities through coaching, development and training plans;Maximize potential of representatives by assessing their unique and individual capabilities, make recommendations to allocate programs according to experience and skills/knowledge set;Manage Inside Sales Team competencies through Ashfield Performance and Development Reviews;Prioritise coaching and performance management efforts to have the greatest overall impact on the program results;Main point of Contact with the client and between the client and Inside Sales team;Lead regular touchpoints with clients to provide program and rep performance updates, client insights and program suggestions;Conduct monthly and/or quarterly business reviews with clients;Act as a subject matter expert on Inside Sales department policies and procedures;Manage and coordinate with the Project Manager and the VP of Commercial Sales on the workflow in the Inside Sales Department to ensure proper resource allocation for each ongoing project;Participate in recruitment process by delivering requirements to HR , performs interviews and train new hires;Promote the Ashfield Values and lead by example;Job Holder Specification: Bachelor’s Degree required (Business or Science preferred);3-5 years pharmaceutical sales experience;A practical understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry;Must have sales management or coaching experience;Previous client management is strongly recommended;Strong technical skills;Strong communication skills;Bilingual English-French.Job Type: Full-time
