Senior Manager, CTO Finance As a strategic partner to the Transformation Office you will lead a team of finance professionals on accounting, reporting, forecasting, and benefits of ATB’s project spending. The Senior Manager, CTO Finance will be a trusted advisor of project stakeholders including project managers, the transformation center, and ATB leaders. The Senior Manager, CTO Finance, along with their team, will focus on the value created through ATB’s projects and establishing appropriate processes for measuring and tracking the value created for the business. You will find success based on your ability to: Assess and report on financial and non-financial benefits of project spending Reviewing and understand business cases and project plans Determining and measuring appropriate benefit measurements to determine the overall success and impact of projects Reporting and advising on project benefits throughout the year to leadership and project committees Leads and develops financial professionals Provide effective leadership, coaching and directions to the team Develop technical training, support and guide their career development to achieve continuous success Partners with the business to provide insight and recommendations related to finance and business strategies Align the activities of the line of business with the financial, operational and strategic objectives of ATB Financial Clearly translates how finance strategies can impact business results Lead the presentation of financial results to executive team and address any questions or concerns Provide recommendations to leaders in their decision making to maximize business performance through thorough analysis, interpretation and identification of emerging external trends and financial results Act as a catalyst to drive high-impact decisions and ensure that financial rigor is consistently applied Implement process improvements and develop strategies to ensure appropriate accounting, budgeting, and forecasting for projects Collaborate with team and project managers to ensure accurate and timely recording of project expenses Understand project budgeting and monitor budget during the year Prepare accurate and relevant forecast related to projects Implement process improvement to ensure efficiency and timeliness of project financial information Job Requirements As the ideal candidate you possess: Business degree or diploma typically in Accounting or Finance CPA, MBA, CFA designation 10 years related or financial services experience Previous leadership experience required Previous experience in project accounting and project benefits analysis is an asset Financial industry experience is an asset Strong financial modeling capabilities; deep, recognized expertise in analysing, interpreting and applying information about key operational drivers Expertise in Excel; Google (G-Suite) and SAP experience desirable In-depth knowledge of accounting & finance practices in
