The successful candidate will take personal accountability in achieving goals and sales targets. The ability to deliver excellent customer service is vital.Qualifications We’re looking for enthusiastic and highly driven sales professionals to help us create these life changing experiences. Our team members have either lived, worked in the region, or have sold it extensively. Our travel planners make suggestions on where to go, how to go there, accommodations, tours to take and attractions to see. This individual needs to be well-read, extremely well-travelled.Key Accountabilities: The creation and sale of high quality, tailor-made itineraries. You are ultimately responsible for the planning, selling and implementation of the itineraries.Balancing your time accordingly to maximise revenue and profit.To ensure the itineraries created, tours and hotels booked are of the highest standard.To encourage repeat business.Keeping in touch with tourism developments in your countries of expertise, ensuring that you remain up to date with knowledge of commercial, hotels/flights/infrastructure.Demonstrate a total commitment to customer service. It's your goal to ensure all clients return home having had a trip which exceeds their expectations.To successfully negotiate, persuade and handle price objections and identify opportunities to up-sell product or services.Key Competencies: International travel experience beyond North America and CaribbeanKnowledge/experience of countries or region of specialityDegree level education or equivalent an assetResults oriented; Must be comfortable and/or have experience working in an environment with sales targetsAvailable to work a flexible schedule, 9-5, 10-6 and some Saturdays 10-noonOutstanding communication skills in English (verbal and written) as well as great listening skillsStrong organization and time management skillsAbility to multi-taskBe able to work well in a team and independentlyAbility to problem solve and perform in a time pressure environmentMust be computer literate (strong keyboard & internet navigation skills, MS Office, basic math skills, etc.)Must be able to adapt/adjust to a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, with a constant change in products & servicesHighly-motivated by income and the drive to be successfulMust be TICO certified*We appreciate all applicants however only selected candidates will be contacted. *Job Type: Full-timeExperience:Travel: 2 years (Required)
